Most of the time, my job is calm. I keep things up to date, and schedule things here at work so they don't interrupt our company's business. Thankfully, Microsoft, and some other software companies understand my dilemma. They have a very clever means of adding excitement to my otherwise dull routine! Microsoft's solution to a minor issue is to update complex systems, wreak havoc, interrupt most of our company's senior management and make our employees completely unable to do their jobs. When these service interruptions take place, it's always best to have no documentation of how to undo the 'fix' - a welcome fact that adds a great deal of adventure to my job. Adding to the layers of excitement, it's best when patches happen immediately prior to a 3 day weekend with a holiday! It's so much fun, that sometimes I even get to involve Hany. He is thrilled to work with systems he's never seen before too! Sometimes we even get to involve William! Yay!Cybertron rocks.
